Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are stepping out for an important event.
The "Part of Me" singer, 41, joined her former Canadian Prime Minister boyfriend, 54, in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday, Jan. 20 for his speech about the importance of "soft power" at the World Economic Forum.
The pair smiled as they held hands at the event after Perry sat in the front row and listened to Trudeau's speech. "The 80 years of stability and prosperity that the world has seen since the end of the horrors of World War Two is over," he said at the event, per CBC.

"That era is done," added Trudeau, according to the outlet. "We are now in a transition period where we are creating the new world we live in."
He explained how certain current world leaders utilize forms of "hard power" and urged the opposite in today's climate, noting that nations coming together is more productive for the world at large.
Elsewhere during the speech, Trudeau got candid about a recent "date with an American girl to a rooftop bar in Montréal" and noted that "she ordered a Jack and Coke."
Then, said the politician, "the server kindly informed her that there was no more American alcohol, not just in that bar but anywhere in Montréal and probably anywhere across the entire country."
Trudeau noted the situation marked "an example of Canadians standing up for each other, that's an example of soft power, being motivated to be there for each other at a time of stress, at a time of anxiety."
Earlier this month, Perry shared photos and videos from her holiday season — including two with Trudeau on a beach vacation. One photo saw him smiling while swimming in the ocean, while the other featured the "Wide Awake" singer kissing him on the cheek.

Perry and Trudeau first sparked romance rumors in summer 2025, and they've since gone public with several outings together.
The Grammy-nominated artist is mom to daughter Daisy Dove, 5, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom. Trudeau and his estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau share three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien.
