Post-divorce, Nicole Kidman’s ex, Keith Urban, is feeling lonely and misses his daughters a lot. Kidman has been given the primary custody of their teen daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The singer feels he has been “reduced to a guest appearance” in his daughters’ lives.

It seems Keith Urban has been affected by his split from Nicole Kidman after 19 years of marriage. They share two doting daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. After the divorce, the actress became the primary residential parent of the children. Moreover, as per reports, Kidman will get 306 days a year with her daughters. Urban, however, will get 59 days with them. Notably, it seems amid the busy schedule and the High and Alive Tour, the singer has realised the importance of family.

According to RaradrOnline.com, in his CBS and Paramount series, “The Road,” the country singer opened up about his life. He shared that when you are on a tour, “you miss your friends, and you’re missing your family. He even said, “you’re completely lonely and miserable and sick.” However, one has to remind themselves, “Why am I doing this?.’ The only answer can be: Because this is what I’m born to do.”

But according to an insider, post-divorce, the distance from his daughters has been difficult for the singer, and he finds his ex-wife’s role in the kids’ lives difficult to accept. “Keith can’t shake the feeling that the current custody arrangement, layered on top of his relentless touring schedule, has unintentionally pushed him to the sidelines,” the source said.

The source added that the guitarist “hates the idea of being reduced to a guest appearance in his daughters’ lives. He wants “a constant presence.” Although Urban “understands that Nicole is now their main anchor day to day.” But he also shared that “reality is hard for him to accept.” Due to this, the singer “fears” that their daughters “might interpret the distance as him choosing work over them.” But, “in his heart,” Urban “doesn’t see it that way at all.”
