Sadie Sink is graduating from keeping *Stranger Things* secrets to keeping Marvel secrets, and she's not being shy about which is more difficult to do as an actor.

The *Stranger Things* star is currently enjoying being able to talk about her final-season role now that it's releasing on Netflix, but she still can't say anything — not even who she's playing — about the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*.

"I had an amazing time working on that film. I can't wait to talk about it more," Sink told *The Hollywood Reporter*. "There's so much I want to share. That's why I feel like keeping *Stranger Things* secrets are kind of easy because I have so many *Spider-Man* secrets I'm sitting on that feel even more secretive."

Sink currently stars as Max on the Netflix horror drama, and will next be seen in an undisclosed role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fourth *Spider-Man* movie, opposite Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jon Bernthal (swinging into theaters July 31, 2026). She revealed that she found out she was cast in *Brand New Day* while wrapping up filming the last season of *Stranger Things*.

"It was crazy," the 23-year-old actor said. "*Spider-Man* has always been my favorite. I love *Spider-Man*. I love Tom's Spider-Man, especially. To be a fan of something and then join it is a familiar feeling for me, because I was a fan of *Stranger Things* before I joined the show, but I was super excited about what they had planned. I also worked with the director, [Destin Daniel Cretton], in one of the first movies I ever did when I was 14, so it's kind of a full-circle moment." (Sink appeared in Cretton's *The Glass Castle* in 2017.)**

Sink is no stranger to keeping intel about her top-secret projects in the vault, after joining *Stranger Things* in season 2 at just 14 years old. But she does spill some details to a few key, trusted individuals.

"I tell my family a lot," she said. "And we can talk about it with the other cast members, too. So it doesn't feel like there's that much to keep secret, or we're just all very used to it at this point. But it'll be nice once it's all finally out there and I never have to keep a secret about *Stranger Things* again."

Just wait until her Marvel press cycle begins.
