Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo star as estranged fighters in the new Street Fighter video game adaptation
The film is set for release in October 2026 and follows a deadly conspiracy uncovered during the World Warrior Tournament
In addition to actors like Centineo and Jason Momoa, wrestlers Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes also appear in the cast
The stars of Street Fighter are bringing everyone's favorite combatants to life.
An adaptation of the iconic video game franchise, the action flick will star Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo as "estranged Street Fighters" who are recruited for the next World Warrior Tournament.
According to the official logline, per Deadline, the fighters uncover "a deadly conspiracy" lurking beneath the battle "that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past."
The upcoming film — set for release on Oct. 16, 2026 — will feature a number of familiar faces from the arcade classic.

Noah Centineo as Ken Masters

Centineo stars in the movie as Ken Masters, a former champion martial artist turned "sideshow," according to the first official trailer.
The Recruit star said during CinemaCon in April 2026 that he grew up playing the video game with his family and friends.
"We worked pretty tirelessly to try to place as many Easter eggs in it for all of you that really lived and died by the game," he told the crowd, per Entertainment Weekly.

Andrew Koji as Ryu

Starring opposite Centineo, Koji takes on the role of former warrior Ryu.
In the film’s trailer, his character appears to have stepped away from fighting, saying the path he’s on “is not one of combat.”
The teaser also hints at lingering tension between Ryu and Ken, former allies who clash shortly after their long-awaited reunion.

Street Fighter stars Callina Liang as Chun-Li, a mysterious figure who enlists Ryu and Ken into the World Warrior Tournament, per Deadline.
Deadline reported her casting in June 2025, which Liang posted on Instagram, writing in the caption that her 12-year-old self was "shaking dying crying" from the news.
In the video game series, Chun-Li was the first playable female character.

David Dastmalchian as M. Bison

David Dastmalchian will portray one of Street Fighter's most iconic villains, M. Bison.
The actor told IGN at Comic-Con in July 2025 that he got into character "by going to the arcade and playing a lot of Street Fighter II."

Jason Momoa as Blanka

Jason Momoa will play Blanka, a green-skinned, orange-haired creature with the deadly ability to conduct electricity.
In addition to his on-screen role, Momoa is also one of the film's producers.

The role is especially exciting for Momoa for a reason stemming back to his childhood.
“My mom raised me with no video games,” Momoa told Men’s Journal in October 2025. “It was always a sneaky thing that I loved. I’d go to a friend’s house to play Street Fighter. Or go to the arcade to play Street Fighter.”

Roman Reigns as Akuma

Professional wrestler Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa'i plays Akuma in the film adaptation of Street Fighter.
The WWE Raw star's character first debuted in the video game series in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a mysterious figure with a connection to Ryu.

Anoa'i isn't the only professional wrestler on the cast.
WWE's Cody Rhodes will also appear in Street Fighter as Guile, an Air Force soldier known best for his flat-top haircut and signature Sonic Boom attack.

Stand-up comedian Andrew Schulz also joined the Street Fighter cast as Dan Hibiki, who was first introduced in Street Fighter Alpha and is characterized as being obnoxiously cocky.
When he announced his casting in June 2025, Schulz joked on Instagram that all those nights spent playing the game instead of doing homework had finally paid off.

Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim

Actor and producer Vidyut Jammwal will play the noble — and limb-stretching — Dhalsim in the upcoming Street Fighter adaptation.
He's shared a few photos with his cast members, writing on Instagram in August 2025, "In the company of warriors, I find my tribe."
In real life, Jammwal also practices the Indian martial art Kalaripayattu.

The Street Fighter trailer featured comedian Eric André as Don Sauvage, the eccentric announcer of the World Warrior Tournament.
In the clip, he addresses the roaring crowd outside of the ring, telling them that "Gathered here are the world's best fighters! But only one of which will be crowned the world champion of Street Fighter!”

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as Balrog

That's right, rapper 50 Cent (né Curtis Jackson) is set to appear in Street Fighter as the boxer Balrog.
Since his casting announcement, the "In da Club" artist has continually teased his role, joking in a September 2025 Instagram post that when he played the game, he "would just keep hitting the square button."
In the video game, the character was inspired by real-life boxer Mike Tyson.
