If you are traveling over the weekend, you could experience some weather-induced travel delays in some spots.
The system that brought severe storms to the Central Plains and Upper Midwest on Friday will continue to track eastward Saturday before moving off the coast late on Sunday, so East Coast hubs could see some impacts, though they will be less than what other parts of the country saw on Friday.
Then another round of moisture will begin to move into the West, including Northern California, late Sunday.
If you're heading to the Appalachians, Deep South or Southwest in the days ahead, keep in mind that the trees and grasses are in full swing. Pollen sufferers will want to account for that in any outdoor plans. You can see how far north the pollen has gotten in maps at the end of this article.
